India’s Covid Wave: Death Toll Surpasses 100, Kerala at the Forefront

Tragically, the death toll in India’s current Covid wave has climbed past 100, with 11 new fatalities reported on Monday, bringing the total to 108. This concerning development highlights the ongoing health challenges posed by the virus.

Kerala Leads in Cases and Fatalities

Kerala is currently experiencing the brunt of this wave, accounting for seven of the 11 recent deaths. The state is grappling with a surge in infections, putting a strain on healthcare resources and raising concerns amongst its residents.

Other States Report Covid Deaths

Other states also reported fatalities related to Covid-19, with one death each occurring in Delhi, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. While these numbers are lower than Kerala’s, they underscore the widespread impact of the virus across the country.
